The younger brother to the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari was welcomed to the All Progressives Congress secretariat by a mammoth crowd from 21 local governments of the state. They came to witness his declaration for the exalted office.
Speaking at the party secretariat in Yola, he pledged infrastructural development, jobs and a robust Internally Generated Revenue.

According to him, impact of agricultural diversification by President Muhammadu Buhari has not been properly harnessed, promising that if given the mandate, he would turn around the fortune of the state.
Hon. Jerry Kumdisi, his campaign Director General, charged party members to eschew politics of bitterness by working for the party in the 2019 general election.
