National Chairman of the main opposition People’s Democratic Party wants president Muhammadu Buhari to release persons he described as political detainees including AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore.

Mr Uche Secondus spoke in Yola during a condolence visit to Gov Ahmadu Fintiri who lost his father two weeks ago.

He added that the unconditional release of Omoyele Sowore and other politicians in detention will preserve democracy and protect the rights to free speech and association.
