Federal Reps Candidate Commends Military on Freedom For Hostages

The Candidate of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), House of Representatives, Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Lagos State, Nigeria, Hon. Lawal Rilwan Ayoola (LRA) has commended the Nigerian-Military for securing the release of the remaining 23 abducted Abuja- Kaduna trains passengers held hostage by Boko Haram Terrorists during the attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train six months ago.

In a statement issued to the press, he stated that it is certain that without political interference and internal sabotage, the Nigerian army is still on top of their games

“To those who still doubt the brilliance and proficiency of our Military force, this is another proof that they are still efficient and capable as rated in international communities.

“This freedom for the abducted is exactly what we have been hoping for. A special thank you to the seven-man Presidential Committee assembled by the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), General Lucky Eluonye Irabor, and all the agencies involved in the collaborative efforts to achieve this success of securing the release of all the rest of the 23 victims.

“The family and friends of the victims can now put their minds rest as the victims reunite with their loved ones while we look forward to the government doing the needful by rehabilitating the victims”, he stated.

The Federal House of Reps candidate believes that if the military and their sister agencies can continue this kind of winning streak, the confidence of Nigerians in our security architecture will be restored sooner than we can imagine.

“The time to start naming and punishing the sponsors of Boko Harm is now. Dubai sentenced our own Boko Haram sponsors, and the US sanctioned the six Nigerian nationals who were found guilty in the United Arab Emirates to raise funds for fighters in Nigeria while Nigeria’s government has continued to refuse naming them, not to talk of sanctioning or sentencing.

“The time to do the needful is now to make it easier and inspire our security forces and encourage the masses to support”, he stated.
