At least two people are reported dead and several others injured after a train collided with a Bus in Transit (BRT) at Adekunle Fajuyi way in Ikeja, Lagos state this morning, March 9.
According to reports from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), 2 adult females staff of the State Government dIEd and several injured are being evacuated.
“The State Government staff bus was trying to cross the PWD/Sogunle rail crossing while the train coming into Lagos from Abeokuta trapped the bus on its rail.
“Operations are ongoing. Search and Rescue concluded. Removal of the carcass of the bus is also ongoing”
