Television Continental (TVC) News Friday evening won the 2020 Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA)’s station of the year award
The Nigeria Media Merit Award is the nation’s foremost media excellence award and also the most prestigious annual celebration of the best in the Nigerian media industry.
Asides winning the TV station of the year, three of it’s reporters made it to the finals with labour beat reporter, Sharon Ijasan also winning the reporter of the year.
This year’s NMMA is the 28th edition of the prestigious honour, celebrates the best in the Nigerian media industry.
It is the second time the TV station is winning the most coveted Broadcast Media Award in Nigeria in the last three years.
Friday’s ceremony attracted a huge audience of journalists, media and PR practitioners from traditional and new media platforms.
