VIDEO: First batch of stranded Nigerians return from Saudi Arabia

A first batch of 383 stranded Nigerians (300 Males, 83 Females and one Infant) of the 802 that cried out in a viral video to be evacuated have now returned. They came aboard a Saudi Arabia Airlines which touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport at exactly 1pm.

The returnees are now being screen in line with Nigeria’s covid-19 protocols. A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Gabriel Aduda says the returnees will be quarantined at the FCT Hajj camp for 14 days in line with established covid-19 protocols¬†
